Community Development
No one cares more about a neighborhood than those who call it home. That's why this program is built around training community residents to become strong neighborhood leaders who can make important changes from within their own communities.
Our Community Development Department works with people who represent all of the individuals and organizations that make a community — schools, businesses, religious institutions and others. Together, the neighborhood's residents find common ground, then combine their strengths to build a better community.
The Community Development Department facilitates a number of ongoing outreach activities, including the Neighborhood Council, Community-Campus Partnership with the University of North Florida, the Housing Roundtable community forum and NeighborWorks® Community Building & Organizing Initiative.
Our family thanks and appreciates all you have done for us. Without your help, we could not get the work done to our house that really needed to be done. The workers did a very good job.
