From a roof repair that keeps out the rain to a wheelchair ramp that opens up possibilities, the Home Rehabilitation program makes home improvements that are often simple, but have far-reaching effects on homeowners' lives. Quality craftsmanship by construction professionals and volunteers gives people with low to moderate incomes the safe, sound living conditions everyone deserves.
Our home rehabilitation work ranges from ongoing neighborhood rehabilitation and handicapped modifications, to special events, such as Paint The Town During Rehab Week.
Neighborhood Rehabilitation
Improving the condition of a home pays immediate dividends for its owner, who is able to live in greater safety and comfort. It's also an investment in the future, helping to ensure that neighborhoods will thrive and that better housing is available for tomorrow's residents.
Our rehabilitation services team includes the program's own professional construction staff, subcontractors and volunteers. To date, the Housing Partnership has rehabilitated homes for nearly 3,000 of our community's residents, and each year we make homes accessible for about 70 homeowners by building new wheelchair ramps.
